"...comfortable to sleep in, but tough enough
to survive the rigors of the trail."
The Adventure Blog - June '11
Our most popular sleeping bag, the Alpini 30°, built in the Alpini tradition of being light, warm, and versatile with 850+ fill down and a Pertex® shell to breathe well but keep moisture away. Rated comfortable for men down to temperatures around +0° C (32° F).
The Alpini 15° is our toastiest sleeping bag, built in the Alpini tradition with 850+ fill down and Pertex Quantum fabric. Rated comfortable for men down to temperatures around -9° C (+15° F).
The concept is quite simple — a compact, waist high sleeping bag that can be paired with the Mountain Sweater or another well-insulated shell to save valuable weight and bulk while in the field.
The only thing you’ll miss with this sleeping pad is the weight. Perfect for the alpinist’ focus on minimal weight. A structural foam improves the insulative value, but is vacuous enough to hardly add any weight to the pad. Comes with graphics for SOS Signals and Helicopter Landing Zone protocol as well as a textured checker board pattern to help it stay put while you watch eyelid movies.
The Alpini Sleeping Pad delivers the insulation you need with a minimalist mindset.
Use this water resistant, highly compressible sleeping bag cover in a tent in wet conditions or as an emergency shelter in dry climates. Mummy-shaped, with a draw cord face closure, the UltraLite Sleeping Bag Cover is cut large enough to accommodate most standard length sleeping bags.
Our UltraLite Alpini Bivy Sack is inspired by the elite Italian Alpine Corps. Formed in 1872, the Alpinis are the oldest active mountain infantry in the world, and to this day they are among the best trained and equipped mountain troops anywhere.
